Verity Clarkson
About Verity:
Verity is a Registered Psychologist who has experience in public and private mental health settings. In addition to her work at Central Psychology, she keeps her clinical skills sharp in the early psychosis intervention program; and have previously conducted research on Youth Mental Health in Melbourne. Verity enjoys working with adults, young adults and adolescents. Verity combines strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapies to equip people with skills to help them manage her mental health. Having recently completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), she is keen to utilize her existing experience helping people heal from trauma - and offer this to help people move past Post-Traumatic Stress and trauma memories.
