About Jana:
Jana is a Health Psychologist with a diverse range of experience in both clinical mental health and illness support settings. Jana brings her understanding of physical, mental and emotional connections to help people overcome challenges, as well as to enhancing their performance - and enjoyment - in life. She has an interest in working with burnout prevention, peak-performance coaching, overcoming perfectionism, stress management and sleep optimisation. She enjoys working with people in high-demand jobs to balance work output and life satisfaction.
On top of her mental health expertise, Jana has significant experience in supporting people through chronic pain management, which she pursues in her role at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Her experience as a mental health clinician has equipped her to assist people with anxiety, depression and improving emotional regulation.
Jana is also a Clinical Associate Lecturer in the School of Psychology in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at Adelaide University. Alongside her clinical expertise, she has published two research papers on Coronary Heart Disease and Spinal Cord Injury.
